Photo Finish

It is with great pride that share these photos sent to me by my father and mother today. They did it!

Double Check reaches the summit

!

Trolley Stop finally stops!

Julie, Rob, and Dagny celebrate in memory of their dad, Buffalo Bobby.

Two weary hikers

Trolley Stop wants to know where the beer is.

Ahhh, champagne will do!

Wet boots, wet socks, doesn't matter anymore!

  1. Congratulations! This is an amazing accomplishment. I will miss reading your posts. May your future be better because of your experience on the trail.

The picture of Bobby Buffalo's children at the summit is special. I pray that his family will have peace, comfort, and strength in the days and weeks ahead.

    Sincerely,
    MagLev.

  3. It is hard to put into words my happiness tonight. I have been praying for 7 months that you would be safe on this adventure. You are the best birthday present I ever got; and, on this day, I am as happy as I was on that day! Welcome home! Rita

  8. Congratulations. I'm sorry we couldn't meet up in Damascus, I really wanted to hear your trail experiences firsthand. I've enjoyed reading the blog however, sounds like you really got the most out of your journey, and I'm glad I could be of some small help. Congratulations again, you earned it.
